Joe is the Average American and DD has "Our World As We See It". I would agree NOW that there's way too much coverage but where does John Stossel get off because his Canadian health-care special on 20/20 was preempted for a MJ special on the very next day after the man passed? When big news events are fresh the coverage really doesn't bother me but it's time for the msm to move on to other things.

The Iranian unrest, IMO, is driven by youth and modern secularism. It may be suppressed for now, but is likely to continue to grow. (Likely be centuries before we see that in Afghanistan)

A couple of the other blogs (Joe's, DD's) say MJ has gotten way too much coverage already. I see their point but don't agree. There's 365 days in a year, if the msm wants to give one subject an intensive treatment over the course of 2 or 3 days that's still a drop in the bucket, do the math, that still leaves 362 days to cover other news and let's face it, MJ was a far more interesting story at least for many people than many of the other topics deemed newsworthy. NOW having said that if the msm still gives MJ massive treatment after those 3 or so days that's just masturbation.
